"schuldig" is misschien een beetje een misplaatste term, maar het is wel de ongelukkige realiteit die steeds meer een einde dreigt te maken aan alle spreiding van kwaliteit. Schotland heeft een prachtige competitie met een geweldige historie, maar de financiële ongelijkheid ten opzichte van Engeland is een zwaardere last voor die competitie dan de heerschappij van de Old Firm. Als ze aan de andere kant van het Kanaal de onafhankelijkheid van de verschillende bonden willen terugbrengen (als dat echt de uitkomst is van zo'n team GB) dan vind ik dat prima, als er maar tegenover staat dat er niet eenzijdig van wordt geprofiteerd.
